Our Purpose:

 

To Provide a variety of opportunities to learn, study and improve English language communications, understand local Canadian culture, develop important workplace skills and build friendships, in the heart of Calgary.

 

Our Focus:

 

Each class has a unique set of outcomes based on:

     1)  the focus of the class

     2)  the needs of the students

     3)  the English levels of the students

 

The teachers and volunteers involved in our classes and workshops share these aims:

     -   To maintain a welcoming atmosphere

    -   To encourage dialogue and expression

    -   To help students to develop skills that will help them

         find work, make friends, or continue their studies
