The Women's Ministry will be hosting an evening of delicious desserts, interesting and informative information and an opportunity to raise funds for important items needed at the Louise Dean Centre.  These funds will be used to provide items which will help the young moms become successful students!

Learning to be a parent, becoming an independent adult and completing high school all at the same time is a hard road.  Add poverty, homelessness, mental health issues or past trauma and getting to school is almost impossible!  At the Louise Dean Centre, teen moms have access to a range of barrier-busting services that pave the path to graduation.

We will have speakers from both the school and the Unlocking Potential program to tell you how much all of this means to the students.  Visiting and enjoying desserts with friends - what a great way to spend a Friday night!  We will have items there and you can decide what you would like to supply.  All you have to do is choose what you like, pay for it and you will receive a tax receipt for your contribution.  This event is not limited to women and the more the merrier!
