On behalf of the Congregation and Board of First Baptist Church, it is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Rev. Norm Derkson as our Senior/Lead Pastor. Norm has been involved recently as the Preaching/Transitional Pastor at a church in central Alberta. Prior to this, he was the Preaching/Lead Pastor at the Banff Park Church for 12 years. He is known for his strong preaching, teaching and his love of people.
Rev. Derkson’s first Sunday at FBC will be April 02/17, where you will have the opportunity to welcome him and his spouse, Leona to this new ministry; and get to know them better.
